It's fading
All I wanted was to have a little fun
And now I'm angry
In my soul, in my mind
Maybe all I needed was just a little sign
And now I'm laying
On the floor
With my hands holding my head
And thinking
That you just don't give a fuck anymore
I know it's crazy
But I'm leaving
Packing my shit, I'm headin' out the door
Don't chase me
I'll turn around
And rip your ass apart just like you done to me
I know it's just a little thing
But something deep inside of me
Is burning from all you've done
I, I, I, I, Baby
I was never fucking good enough
I've tried to stick around
I've tried to find love
Whoa, I was never fucking good enough
I've tried to suffer through
But now I'm giving up
Degrading
Thrown to the ground
Spittin' out the dirt and wiping off the blood
You're crying
But you won't
Take a look inside your head
And then just maybe
You'll see the
Demon sitting in your soul
And then he'll take you
Throw you down
Drag your ass back to hell
That would just make me
Happy
To see you burning in the flames
And I'd see your
Karma
Now I feel better like it should have been forever
Giving up, Giving up, Baby!
'Cause now I'm giving up!
The first album I've listened to from this guy, on his youtube channel. At first I wasn't sure about how I liked it, but Umber Tower sold it to me, and I eventually came to love all of his music. I FINALLY got around to buying all of the albums! Yay! My other favorite has to go to Umber Tower Donald Wilson
this was my first real exposure to hungry lights, and i am forever glad i gave it a listen. it's such a rollercoaster of a emotions! i cannot describe how much i love it, but to put it short and sweet, it's an amazing album that deserves so much love. deimos
This is my favorite album from Hungry lights, because it sounds fucken cool. As well as the story of Prill overcoming the three gods "miraculously" since he cannot die. Zizbaja
Texas band draft an all-killer, no-filler love letter to ’70s hard rock and metal, with surging vocals and riffs that command respect. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 4, 2024
I think this has become my very favourite album out there. The story is incredibly well presented and the music itself is well written and perfectly executed. 10/10 Scorpinox
