How do you tell a story when you don't want to speak?
Locked away inside a memory you don't want to believe
I see you motionless, without a breath, and then I fell to my knees
Tears rained from my eyes begging, please don't leave
My wings have been burned
By a flame I did not deserve, no
You got to see me so low
You got to see me implode
As I light this cigarette, I feel guilty
Why you, an innocent? Why not me?
Flowers came to rest, my mind won't let my body leave
Frozen in time and space, the world goes on without me
My wings have been burned
By a flame I did not deserve, no
You got to see me so low
You got to see me implode

I think this has become my very favourite album out there. The story is incredibly well presented and the music itself is well written and perfectly executed. 10/10 Scorpinox
this was my first real exposure to hungry lights, and i am forever glad i gave it a listen. it's such a rollercoaster of a emotions! i cannot describe how much i love it, but to put it short and sweet, it's an amazing album that deserves so much love. deimos
The first album I've listened to from this guy, on his youtube channel. At first I wasn't sure about how I liked it, but Umber Tower sold it to me, and I eventually came to love all of his music. I FINALLY got around to buying all of the albums! Yay! My other favorite has to go to Umber Tower Donald Wilson
This is my favorite album from Hungry lights, because it sounds fucken cool. As well as the story of Prill overcoming the three gods "miraculously" since he cannot die. Zizbaja
